Media completed her psychology training in Auckland, New Zealand (Aotearoa), and holds postgraduate qualifications in counselling psychology. She is registered to practise as a psychologist in both Australia and New Zealand, with an endorsement in Counselling Psychology.

Media has experience across both government and private sectors, supporting clients through complex emotional, relational, and life‑stage challenges. She offers a therapeutic approach grounded in cultural understanding, warmth, and a steady, compassionate presence. Working within a trauma‑informed, relational framework, she places strong value on the therapeutic relationship and fosters a space that is collaborative, well paced, and anchored in safety and trust. Her clinical focus includes supporting clients experiencing emotional, behavioural, and adjustment‑related difficulties, particularly those arising from adverse or challenging life events.

Rebates

 

Media provides Medicare rebates of $98.95 per standard appointment. You need to obtain a referral from your GP to be eligible for this rebate. If you have a private health insurance with extras, you may be able to claim through it (without a GP referral).
